These Terms and Conditions explain how Zoom Cars provides transport services and how bookings are managed. By making a booking with Zoom Cars, you agree to the terms outlined on this page.
Bookings can be made through the Zoom Cars website, mobile app, telephone, email, or authorised partners. All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.
A booking is confirmed once Zoom Cars sends confirmation by SMS, email, app notification, or phone. Customers must ensure all journey details are correct when booking, including pickup location, destination, passenger numbers, luggage requirements, and flight information for airport transfers. Zoom Cars cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect booking details.
Fares are calculated based on journey distance, expected travel time, vehicle type, time of travel, and demand. Some bookings are offered at fixed fares while others may be estimated depending on journey conditions.
Payments can be made using credit or debit cards, mobile payment methods such as Apple Pay or Google Pay, online payments, corporate account billing, or cash where available. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, parking fees, tolls, route changes, extra stops, or additional luggage.
Bookings cancelled before a driver has been dispatched may not incur a charge. Once a driver has accepted the booking and started travelling to the pickup location, the full fare may be charged if the booking is cancelled.
If a passenger does not arrive at the pickup location and cannot be contacted within ten minutes of the scheduled time, the journey may be treated as a no-show and the full fare may still apply.
For standard pickups, the first five minutes after the scheduled pickup time are usually free. After this period, waiting time may be charged.
Airport pickups include extended waiting time allowances. Waiting time begins from the scheduled pickup time or the flight landing time. Airport parking charges may also apply.
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards drivers and other road users. Drivers may refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger behaves aggressively, uses abusive language, damages the vehicle, or poses a safety risk.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside vehicles. Food and alcohol consumption may also be restricted unless agreed in advance.
Passengers are responsible for any damage caused during a journey. Zoom Cars may apply cleaning or repair charges where a vehicle is excessively soiled or damaged. Charges may vary depending on the severity of the issue and may include compensation for driver downtime while the vehicle is cleaned or repaired.
Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. Zoom Cars cannot accept liability for items lost, damaged, or left in vehicles.
Customers should inform Zoom Cars in advance if they are travelling with oversized luggage or specialist equipment to ensure a suitable vehicle is allocated.
Children should be accompanied by an adult unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. Child seats must be requested at the time of booking if required.
Passengers travelling with animals should notify Zoom Cars when booking. Assistance dogs are always permitted in accordance with legal requirements.
If additional stops or route changes are requested during the journey, additional charges may apply. Drivers may decline route changes where they affect safety, licensing conditions, or significantly alter the journey.
Zoom Cars is not responsible for items left in vehicles. Where possible, recovered items may be held for a limited period. A delivery or handling fee may apply if items are returned to passengers.
Zoom Cars cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather, road closures, or other events outside its control. Liability for any claim relating to transport services will normally be limited to the fare paid for the journey.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Zoom Cars processes personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws. Booking information is used only for delivering services and improving customer experience. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
Zoom Cars may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the website. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of any updates.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled through the courts of England and Wales.
